Hot hot hot......

So I don't know what it's like where you are but it feels like the hottest day ever here. Usually we get a breeze since we're on a hill. However today we've got nothing. It's so yucky in here and of course I had lots to do today so I couldn't just relax in the basement where it's cold on the sofa. On my to do list today was lots of baking and cooking. Sheesh I'm a moron. Anyways, took some funny pictures of Kitty today (aka the Queen). My cats are allowed to go and lay where ever they want to. So of course they're always on beds, sofas, chairs, etc. Never do I find Kitty laying on the floor. Today however I think the heat was bugging her as well. the show off starts rolling around once she realizes I'm taking pictures of her! Quite impressive for such a chubby cat if I do say so myself :)
The cat with the brains, Alpine went for the shade effect.

So to be a double moron I also decided to go weed my flower garden today. I've got this strange thing growing. I'm not sure if it's a weed or what. Does anyone know? It's kind of big and crazy so it's making me think it is but I don't know. Hope someone can help out this non-gardener!

Cute pictures! It does seem weird to see Kitty lying on the floor like that. I don't know what that plant is. Did you pull it out?

Hey Lindsay, long time no talk to favorite sister :) Ya it was weird, nice to know you think so as well. Others who don't know her are just going to think that I'm weird! As for the plant, nope havne't yanked it out yet but I'm considering it.

Hey Rachel, it does look kind of pretty. However it's really big compared to the rest of my garden so it kind of throws everything off. I don't know what to do!

We've got things like that all around our house. Some of them have turned out to be pretty things and some of them I still don't know about. Some of them are taller than me. It could be a problem....

Hey Mel, I for sure understand. It was very interesting this spring to see things coming up and not knowing what they were. I'd tell you I'd help you some time but I realy am not good at this. Nor is it something that I enjoy unfortunately. It's something I do because I have to. Well I guess I don't have to but it does look much better when there aren't weeds every where :)
